This policy is written specifically for the Android app currently published as AI Grammar Checker & Rewriter.
Data-handling overview
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to AI Grammar Checker & Rewriter, published on Google Play by The Language Engine and associated with the legal developer TENBYTES SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS (PRIVATE) LIMITED.
It explains how information may be processed when you use grammar correction, rewriting, email improvement, essay and paragraph tools, tone changes, dictionary and English-learning features, recent-work features, advertising and support.
Writing and text you submit
When you enter or paste text into an AI writing feature, that text must be processed so the App can provide the requested correction, rewrite, tone adjustment, email improvement, essay/paragraph assistance or related output.
Depending on the production architecture and feature, processing may involve network-based infrastructure or service providers used to generate the requested result. Do not submit passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, confidential business information, medical records or other sensitive data unless you are comfortable with the processing required to use the feature.
User-submitted text is not a guarantee of anonymity simply because the App does not ask for a profile. Text itself can contain names, contact details or other personal information.
Dictionary and learning requests
Dictionary searches, vocabulary requests, pronunciation-related queries and other English-learning interactions may be processed to return definitions, examples, word information and learning content.
Recent work
The App includes features for revisiting recent grammar checks, rewritten text, improved emails, dictionary searches and writing results. Information needed for that functionality may be stored by the App for the purpose of restoring recent work.
You should avoid saving highly sensitive information in recent work. App storage may also be affected by Android backup, device migration or clearing app data.
Google AdMob advertising
The App contains advertising and may use Google AdMob. AdMob may process advertising identifiers where permitted, device information, approximate technical information, ad interactions, consent signals, diagnostics and related advertising data according to Google’s policies and the choices available to the user.
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on region, consent, device settings and the production advertising configuration.
Firebase and diagnostics
The existing privacy disclosures for the App state that Firebase services may be used for analytics, crash reporting and performance monitoring. Depending on the Firebase modules enabled in the production build, these services may process device information, app usage statistics, crash logs, diagnostics and related technical information.
These services are used to understand product performance, improve stability and diagnose technical issues.
Data sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers that support requested App functionality, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, infrastructure or technical operations.
Service-provider processing is subject to the provider’s own terms, privacy practices and the configuration used by the App. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, security or fraud prevention.
No direct payment details
If the App later offers Google Play billing or paid functionality, payment-card details are handled by Google Play or the applicable payment provider rather than being directly collected by this website. Any paid feature should be described in the App and applicable purchase flow.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details or other information necessary to understand your request.
Support email: tenbytesoftwaresol@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
The App is a general writing and language productivity tool. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately may contact us for review.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and services involved. No mobile application, cloud service or network transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Retention
Retention depends on the type of information and the systems involved. Information stored locally or as recent work may remain until the user clears app data, removes relevant content or uninstalls the App, subject to Android backup behavior.
Third-party providers may retain information according to their documented policies and the configuration used by the App.
Your choices
- Review or clear recent work where the App provides controls for doing so.
- Manage Android advertising and privacy settings available on your device.
- Use consent controls presented by the App or advertising provider where required.
- Clear the App’s local data through Android settings if appropriate.
- Contact tenbytesoftwaresol@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests concerning information controlled by the developer.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements should be respected by the relevant controller or processor.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when App functionality, AI processing, advertising, Firebase configuration, storage behavior, legal requirements or third-party services change. The effective date will be updated when material revisions are published.
This page replaces the prior Blogger-based privacy destination for the App.
